Sherri Purdy has worked at Baselice & Associates, Inc. as a research assistant since July 2000. While pursuing her Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, Sherri interned for Congressman Steve Stockman in the Beaumont office, in the Office of the Governor Correspondence Division under then-Governor George W. Bush, as an editorial intern for the weekly newspaper Texas Lawyer where she was responsible for gathering information from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court, and as an international exchange-student intern at the National Campaign for the Arts in London, England while participating in Syracuse University-London’s Media and Politics Summer Program.

After receiving her degree in 1999, Sherri worked for Commentary in New York, New York before returning to Austin and joining Baselice & Associates, Inc. She is a member of the Austin Association of Women in Communications.
