Marc
DelSignore
Marc DelSignore is the Vice President of
Baselice & Associates, Inc., a survey research firm which conducts opinion
polling for decision making in politics and public affairs. The firm
specializes in providing survey research for Republican candidates and
issue/referendum projects throughout the United States. Other fields
of research in which Baselice & Associates, Inc., has extensive experience
include corporate, public policy, and jury research as well as opinion
surveys of members of trade associations.
Marc
has worked on over 400 projects while at Baselice & Associates, Inc.
With a background in advertising and media, Marc specializes in the
application of survey research in developing and implementing communication
strategies for his clients. In addition to public opinion polling,
Marc also provides media and general consulting services to various clients,
and he was the lead strategist for the 2002 campaign of Justice Wallace
Jefferson, the first African-American to serve on the Texas Supreme Court.
Political
campaigns for which Baselice & Associates conducted survey research in 2002
include Texas Governor Rick Perry, Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst, Texas
Attorney General Greg Abbott, congressional candidates Henry Bonilla
(TX-23), Kevin Brady (TX-8), and Jeb Hensarling (TX-5), and Harris County
Judge Robert Eckels. Other Republican officeholders for whom Baselice
& Associates, Inc., has conducted survey research include Senator Kay Bailey
Hutchison, Congressmen Archer, Armey, DeLay, and Thornberry, and State
Senators Duncan, Haywood, Sibley, and Shapiro.
Prior to
joining Baselice & Associates, Inc., in August of 1999, Marc worked for a
number of Washington D.C.-based media firms that specialized in political
and issue advocacy advertising. Marc came to Texas in August of 1998,
to oversee the media planning and buying for Rick Perry’s Lt. Governor’s
election campaign against John Sharp. Marc also oversaw the media for
Supreme Court Justice Greg Abbott, Agriculture Commissioner Susan Combs, and
others in the 1998 election cycle.
Marc
graduated from the George Washington University in 1992 with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in History. Marc also attended the Graduate School of
Political Management at the George Washington University from August of 1995
to December of 1996.
